Penske Commercial Vehicles has appointed John Keenan to oversee its New Zealand operation, encompassing leading commercial brands Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck & Bus and Dennis Eagle.

With the business recording significant growth across its major brands since 2005, Mr Keenan will be instrumental in driving new initiatives in line with Penske’s New Zealand business strategy.
Mr Keenan has had 20 years’ experience in senior management within the commercial vehicle and bus sector, running multi-brand operations and dealer networks, and he also has a background in retail and distribution.
His broad experience is an ideal fit for the business, according to Randall Seymore, President of Penske Transportation Group International.
“The appointment is extremely positive for the business. Our New Zealand team, dealers and customers will all benefit from John’s industry clout, management proficiency and great professionalism,” Mr Seymore said.
Mr Keenan will be based at Penske New Zealand’s new state-of-the-art Auckland facility, at 4 Langley Road, Wiri.
