Penske Commercial Vehicles – distributor of Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck and Bus and Dennis Eagle trucks – has taken the decision to not exhibit at the 2017 Brisbane Truck Show.
Penske Commercial Vehicles recently advised event organisers from the Heavy Vehicle Industry Association (HVIA) of their decision.
“We have decided to take a more direct and strategic approach in engaging our customers as part of a reenergised marketing strategy in 2017,” Kimberley Ruddock, General Manager – Marketing at Penske Transportation Group International, said.
“Throughout 2016 we have heavily invested in direct-to-customer events held both centrally and through our retail network, which have proven to be very successful for us. This approach is also in keeping with Penske’s customer first ethos.”
“We have lots of exciting products to deliver to our customers, including the recently launched MAN TGX D38, as well as upcoming events such as the 50th anniversary of the Western Star brand. We will continue to work very closely with our retail network to roll this strategy out through 2017,” Kimberley said.
“We recently expanded our sales force that will enable greater face-to-face contact with our customers to support this renewed strategy moving into 2017 and beyond,” Kevin Dennis, Managing Director at Penske Commercial Vehicles adds.
Kimberley said the business is a supporter of the HVIA and remains a member of the association.
