Penske Truck Rental will commence operations in Perth effective 1st August expanding to five branches nationally.

After launching its Australian operations in Brisbane in July of 2014, Penske Truck Rental subsequently opened locations in Melbourne and Sydney in 2015 and Adelaide in 2016.

Penske Truck Rental will co-locate with Penske Power Systems in the Hazelmere branch, which was recently awarded the retail dealership for Penske Commercial Vehicles offering sales, service and parts support for Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck & Bus and Dennis Eagle.

Penske Truck Rental will offer a range of trucks for the Perth hire fleet including new 120-tonne MAN TGX D38 prime movers, 45-tonne MAN TGS 440 prime movers, and Western Star 2800 6x2 14-pallet body trucks.

“Since Penske Truck Rental’s Australian launch in 2014, we have seen a tremendous increase in demand for our short-term rental and long-term leasing products,” said Adrian Beach, General Manager.

“Our focus is on building relationships, understanding our customers’ needs and providing customised solutions to meet their unique fleet requirements.

“It’s our people that make the biggest difference. We have a great team of dedicated associates who work hard to provide the best customer experience the industry has to offer.

“And that’s what we’ll be bringing to Western Australia.”
