What does an Auto Electrician apprenticeship look like?

An Auto Electrician apprenticeship is a training scheme where you will learn to service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components across our heavy duty vehicles.

At the completion of your apprenticeship you will be proficient in the use of computer engine management systems and using this information to diagnose electrical problems to undertake repairs to parts of the trucks electrical system, such as electronic ignition, cruise control, fuel injection, airbags, automatic transmission and Air conditioning.

What does a Parts Advisor Apprenticeship look like?

A Parts Advisor apprenticeship is a training scheme that leads to a career in customer services within the retail motor industry which deals with parts ordering and stock management.

At the completion of your apprenticeship you will be proficient in dealing with requests for parts and materials from vehicle technicians or customers who want to purchase parts to carry our repairs themselves, timely parts ordering and managing parts stock held, building customer relationships, data management, multi-skilling and supporting co-workers as well as inventory and job reporting.

A Spray Painter apprenticeship is a training scheme that will lead you to a career where you will utilise your skills preparing and painting prime movers from delivery to the facility, through production, ready for delivery to their final destination.

At the completion of your apprenticeship you will be proficient in the preparation, repair, application, maintenance and colour matching of some of the best known trucks in Australia as well as quality checking and following work orders to final inspection whilst displaying a commitment to excellent customer service.

What does a Store Person apprenticeship look like?

A Store Person apprenticeship is a training scheme that leads to a career in customer service whereby you will receive, handle and despatch goods in our warehouse.

At the completion of your apprenticeship you will be proficient in monitoring and controlling the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse, the quality control of goods, safe use of a forklift and recording and tracking goods using our software system.

Diesel Technician

A Diesel Technician apprenticeship is a training scheme where you will work under the guidance and mentorship of our experienced technicians to learn all you need to know about servicing, diagnosing and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles, whilst also being responsible for the preparation of tools and maintaining a the workplace together with formal training at a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Please note: Formal training is through MITO in New Zealand.

At the completion of your apprenticeship you will be proficient in understanding the technical workings of engines, transmissions and mechanical components and be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of diesel engines and heavy vehicle components. You will be proficient in the use of computerised testing equipment to diagnose faults and re-program electronics and have the ability to strip down and re-assemble engines and components, service braking systems, trailers and hydraulics whilst utilising your excellent Communication and customer service skills to explain problems/issues.

A Fitter-Welder apprenticeship is a training scheme where you will work under the guidance and mentorship of our experienced technicians to learn all you need to know about general mechanical fitting and welding work on heavy trucks and general mechanical repairs together with formal training at a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
