An Auto Electrician apprenticeship is a training scheme where you will learn to service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components across our heavy duty vehicles.

At the completion of your apprenticeship you will be proficient in the use of computer engine management systems and using this information to diagnose electrical problems to undertake repairs to parts of the trucks electrical system, such as electronic ignition, cruise control, fuel injection, airbags, automatic transmission and Air conditioning.

What does an Diesel Technician apprenticeship look like?

A Diesel Technician apprenticeship is a training scheme where you will work under the guidance and mentorship of our experienced technicians to learn all you need to know about servicing, diagnosing and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles, whilst also being responsible for the preparation of tools and maintaining the workplace together with formal training at a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

At the completion of your apprenticeship you will be proficient in understanding the technical workings of engines, transmissions and mechanical components and be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of diesel engines and heavy vehicle components. You will be proficient in the use of computerised testing equipment and have the ability to strip down and re-assemble engines and components, service braking systems and hydraulics whilst utilising your excellent communication and customer service skills.
