Construction & Industrial Trucks

Penske Australia & New Zealand has one of the broadest engine portfolios available, offering power solutions from 20 kW to 3,500 kW and components that are optimised for use in the construction and industrial sector, where reliability and durability are a must, and fuel efficiency is expected.

In virtually no other applications are engines subject to such varying conditions, extreme temperatures, rugged terrain, and constant demands.

Our technologically advanced engines are designed to achieve optimum fuel efficiency, maximum safety, and low life-cycle costs. They are utilised in mobile and stationary cranes, construction equipment including dump trucks, wheeled loaders and excavators, road-building plants, firefighting and aircraft ground support equipment, snow ploughs and ski trail preparation vehicles, plus engine drives for de-watering pumps in mining applications.

We assemble and distribute our own power drive units and fire pump drive units, powered by Mercedes-Benz, which are built tough to work hard in Australia & New Zealand’s varying geographic and extreme climate conditions.

Along with Mercedes-Benz diesel engines, Penske Australia & New Zealand has Detroit engines available in its portfolio, in addition to Allison Transmission products, resulting in a solution for almost all applications.

We also supply Rolls-Royce Power Systems’ mtu brand of lower power range industrial engines. This wide range of economical industrial diesel engines are ideal for applications ranging from stationary pumping to mobile equipment such as cranes, haul trucks, mining equipment, and forestry machinery.

Customised for the off-highway market, mtu’s OM900, OM457, 1000, 1100, 1300, and 1500 engines range in power from 90-480kW are available compliant to EU Stage IIIA, EPA Tier 4 and EU Stage V emission certification.
